Starting Back Up Again

I was going to totally merge this blog with my other one, but decided that with some of the craft fairs I do throughout the year, it's best to have this blog back up again so I can show what I'm selling.  

So, please be patient as I'll be working to put up a way to pay for items on this blog and I have to add pages showing what I'm selling.

Merging with My Other Blog

As of today, March 2, 2012, I'll be merging this blog with A Scrapmom's Musings.  I haven't been giving this blog my full attention as I do most of my blogging through A Scrapmom's Musings.  I plan on creating more items for my Etsy shop which has also been neglected for a long time now.  I'll be able to devote more time to my customers and creating if I have one blog.  So, from today, please go to http://scrapmomsmusings.blogspot.com and become a follower, if you're not already.

A New Creation To Share....

I recently mailed these off for a swap over at Your Paper Pantry. The theme for the "Sew Crafty" group was to make a pincushion from a teacup. Actually, we had to make two and we'll get two different ones back. I used these vintage teacups from my own (very small) collection. I added a Prima rose to the top of the handle and added a faux pearl flourish, some buttons and a stickpin (another requirement). To spruce it up a bit more and give it a more 'shabby chic' look, I added fringe around the rim as well as a paper rose with a velveteen ribbon leaf and another button on the saucer. These would make cute gifts for the seamstress in your life.
